gregperry : Copying and cheating
It’s important to know the difference. If you copy someone else’s answer during a test, this really isn’t copying, it’s cheating.
say you see a footballer on TV do a trick to go past an opposing player. If you then practised the trick and used it in your Monday night 5-a-side, then you’re not cheating, you’re copying.
Imitating is a good thing.
So you could say I cheated, that I stole this theme. I like to think I copied. I copied it because I think the blog it came from is the greatest thing on the internet since www.zombo.com. We are all a collection of
the things we have copied and sometimes we can create new ideas from what we’ve found.
All creativity stands on the shoulders of the learning habits and learning products of other people.
